John Mangold - Site Supervisor
I have worked at School-Age Care since 2003. Additionally, I spent one year at Heritage and one at Sibley as a paraprofessional. I grew up near Portland, Oregon and graduated from Washington State University. I enjoy working with our students on a daily basis and helping them in any way.
Christine Joa - Site Supervisor
I earned my Bachelors Degree from Saint Mary’s University in Human Services with a focus on child development. My work with children for the past 25 years includes being a Child Advocate, Head Start Lead Teacher, and a Paraprofessional. I am also a proud parent of a wonderful 23 year old graduate of UW River Falls. In my free time I enjoy spending time with her, my amazing parents, and other family and friends. I also enjoy gardening, camping, traveling, wood burning, beading, and scrapbooking. I look forward to spending time teaching and learning with your children, and getting to know you!

Amy Lushanko - Special Ed. Para
I've started working for School-Age Care in 2010. I've worked at three different sites. I truly enjoy working with the children and gaining perspective everyday through their eyes. When I am not working I look forward to engaging in outdoor activities and spending time with my family, which also includes my four dogs and my 16 chickens! I look forward to a great year at SAC!
Cassie Blair - Support Para
Hello. My name is Cassie Blair. I am a mother of an amazing 16 year old son, Nathaniel. I enjoy crafts, hanging out with family and friends, and being active. I really enjoy watching my son play sports and football season! I have worked with kids for 15 years from ages 6 weeks old up to 14 years old. I am attending college working towards one day becoming an elementary teacher.
I am really excited to be apart of ISD 197!
Kathy Bjorklund - Support Para
My name is Kathy Bjorklund and I'm excited about my second year working in SAC program. I have been working with children in different programs for many years and really enjoy it!
In my spare time I like to do things with my husband like go for walks, have a campfire, go to movies, and have out granddaughters for overnights.
Sophia Wick - Support Para
Hello! My name is Sophia Wick and I grew up in Mendota Heights. I am very outgoing, caring and kind. I have been working with children for over 10 years. I live with my husband and dog. I look forward to working with all the children at SAC.
Blake Smith - Support Para
This is my fifth year working for ISD 197, but I'm thrilled to be starting my first with SAC! I obtained a Bachelors of Fine Arts from The University of Minnesota Duluth just this spring, and have taught kids art programs for many years. Having went to Somerset myself quite some time ago, I look forward to working with a new generation of students, and using my skills to help them create some awesome, creative projects at SAC!
Julie Peterson - Special Ed Para
I have been in the school district for two years an an Instructional Assistant Paraprofessional at Moreland Arts and Health Science Magnet. I have also worked with SAC at several locations and at Summer SAC!
I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis campus, with a B.A. in Film/Video Production, Dance and Theater studies. I enjoy movies with my family, dancing, yoga and traveling. Italy being my favorite country and Italian food one of my favorites to eat.
I love to share all my diverse experiences in my work with the kids in hopes to inspire them to do their personal as well as academic best.
Anne Radmer - Support Para
I have been in the district 2 years and am in 2 positions...SAC being one and Child Nutrition the other. I was in the administrative field previous to this and am so happy I made the switch because I LOVE working with the children!!!
In my spare time I love to cook, bake, garden.... and golden retrievers are my passion. Also love hanging out with my great family!!

I've lived in West Saint Paul all my life and I graduated from Sibley High School!
I have worked for the school district since 2008 starting with Child Nutrition and this is my 2nd year with SAC.
In my spare time (when I have some) I like to read, watch movies, go for walks and spend time with my four kids.

Charlie Davis - Inclusion Specialist
I have a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition and a minor in Biology from the U of M - Twin Cities. I've spent the previous 3-4 years working with seniors with memory loss, including co-managing a home in Minnetonka. In my free time I play club rugby in Minneapolis, read frequently and do crosswords. I'm looking forward to working with the kids at SAC.
