Destination Imagination (DI) is an educational program in which student teams solve open-ended Challenges and present their solutions at Tournaments. Teams are tested to think on their feet, work together and devise original solutions that satisfy the requirements of the Challenges. Participants gain more than just basic knowledge and skills—they learn to unleash their imaginations and take unique approaches to problem solving.
If you are in Grades 2-12, you can become a member of a team of students close to your age and work together to present your challenge solutions at the Regional tournament in March. DI is about giving you the chance to solve problems without an adult telling you the answers. It's your problem to solve, not ours. Are you up for a fun and exciting challenge? Do you like to be creative and enjoy improv performances? If you like to think out of the box and want a chance to show the world just how creative you are, then DI is for you. It won't be easy, but the journey is full of fun experiences. In addition, you will have the opportunity to attend creative thinking workshops and meet other DI teams from around the cities.
