Fairie Family in rehearsal for A Middsummer Night's Dream
No need to go downtown for theater performances, check out the fall plays and musical right in our community! Plan an evening with friends and family at one or more of our local student theatrical performances. This fall Simley High School will perform “a Midsummer Night’s Dream,” and South St. Paul Secondary School will perform “Ax of Murder.”

From Shakespeare to rock and roll, you’ll find high quality, entertaining theater right in your neighborhood. See talented young performers bring characters to life on the stage. From acting and set building, to lighting and costumes, students are the main force behind these productions. Footloose

Based on the hit 1984 movie, "Footloose" is the story of Ren, a teen who loves to dance. Ren moves to a small rural town where dancing is illegal and everyone is afraid of the over-zealous local reverend Shaw Moore. A story of loss and redemption scored by some of the biggest top 40 hits from 1984!

A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Shakespeare’s classic comedy, full of lovers, bumbling, would be actors, and fantastical fairies, comes to life at Simley Theatre this fall. See dramatic choreography and a magical forest setting outside of Athens. See some of Shakespeare’s most memorable characters bring the passion of youth as well as the slapstick shenanigans of Bottom and his friends come to life. And of course, you will also be entertained by the pranksters antics of Puck, Titania, and Oberon.
